Total of 150 dumped boats removed from Thames
Our beautiful River Thames, a lifeline for Thame, has seen a big clear-up! Over 150 abandoned boats have been removed, helping to keep our waterways looking shipshape for everyone to enjoy.
Boats are only permitted to stop on the Thames for up to 24 hours at short-stay mooring points.
